Our Vision
Breathless & LiL MC have been active on the Bay Area Hip Hop scene for 15+ years, not only as performers but as event curators and community activists. Both are Recording Academy members and have together received two FYC nominations. They are the founders of the all womxn cypher series, The Bar Exam Cypher, where they feature a diversity of womxn MC’s, producers, DJ’s, and dancers. They’ve performed together at the premier of Queens of the Underground in Oakland, an all female hip hop showcase, and opened for Sa-roc at the Gilman Hip Hop Anniversary event in January 2019. They were also the recipients of the Local Sirens award from Women’s Audio Mission in San Francisco, where they received the opportunity to record, mix and master their highly anticipated collaboration project “D.F.P” featuring youth from Hip Hop For Change and underground female heavyweight Sa-Roc.
Breathless is a rapper, songwriter, curator born in Tachikawa, Japan who received an Omaha Entertainment Award for Best Hip Hop/Rap artist, performed on The Warped Tour circuit, Outside Lands, Oakland Art & Soul Main Stage, San Francisco Pride Main Stage, Oakland Pride (Womyns & Main Stage), and voice overs on-air talent for the cartoon character, Carrie, in the animated YouTube hit, Ghost Bus Kids. She currently has a viral song sample on TikTok at 1.4Million streams. Breathless with all female powerhouse group, FemmeDeadlyVenoms with a song got placement on Queen Latifah’s CBS show, The Equalizer & Ginny & Georgia on Netflix. She also teaches professionally as a freestyle Hip Hop educator in the Atlanta Public Schools through.
LiL MC is a bilingual rapper, producer, and educator from the Bay Area whose captivated audiences across the country and internationally for over 15 years. A classically trained pianist turned Oakland battle rap champion, she’s known for razor-sharp lyricism and commanding stage presence. One of the few female producers in Hip Hop, her work has been featured in NBA 2K21, Billboard Hip Hop, The Source, and CBS, and she’s shared stages with notable artists list Kota The Friend, Too Short, and E-40. Beyond music, she’s the Program Coordinator at Hip Hop For Change and founder of Queens of the Underground, amplifying women in Hip Hop worldwide. Whether headlining or supporting, LiL MC brings an unforgettable live experience, blending storytelling, clever wordplay, and empowerment that resonates with diverse audiences.
